1985.05.01 "If you get the impression Sequential means business when it comes to documentation, award yourself a gold star for perception. Style and format of the MultiTrak documentation is consistent with that of previous Sequential user guides, which means both manuals are models of clarity and comprehensiveness. If only every synth came as well documented." Electronics and Music Maker

1985.05.07 Summer ANSI X3V1 Conference on Musical Information Processing Standards, This mind meld was conducted by Charles Goldfarb of IBM. Here's where I ran into Leslie Heeter, who later reviewed Music Possible for Computer Music Journal.

1985.12 Prophet-T8 Technical Manual

1985.12 Went with Elaine to a conservative holiday party in Los Altos. Like all Republicans or something. Met a guy and started talking about Macs. There still weren't many around so he suggested that we trade software. I think he saw my shocked look, when he said "Or not" and embarrassedly excused himself. About a week later he was killed in a very rare accident between two P3 Orions out of Moffett Field when they failed a hot-swap sub watch.
